Stranaidea

Stranaidea is a social cooperative (type AB) established in 2021 through the merger of Cooperativa Stranaidea and Cooperativa Agridea. Operating in the Turin area, its mission is to provide quality, equitable, and inclusive education, reduce inequalities, and promote sustainable production and consumption models.
The cooperative supports individuals and families with disabilities and mental health challenges. It serves the community by managing day centers for homeless people, training programs for adults in need, childcare services,  and residential centers for individuals with mental disabilities.
Additionally, Stranaidea offers training programs for people of all ages and  various services, including cemetery maintenance, gardening, waste collection, and the management of an eco-center and a recycling center. They also run programs specifically for people with disabilities.
The Rigenera initiative supports the launch of DE.CI.DO (Decoro Cimiteriale Donne, i.e. Cemetery Maintenance Women), now renamed Kore – La Cura Oltre  (https://kore.stranaidea.it), a cemetery maintenance service that includes cleaning, minor repairs, and floral arrangements for gravesites. It has expanded employment opportunities for beneficiaries, strengthened both their soft and professional skills, and met community needs with quality service. The project’s focus on women’s job placement adds further value to the initiative.
