Dalla Stessa Parte is a type B social cooperative founded in 1983 in Turin. Its activities primarily take place in the province of Turin, including the areas of Ciriè, Valli di Lanzo, and (Basso) Canavese.
The cooperative is structured into three operational divisions: laboratory, environment, and beekeeping (the MEL project). All productive activities serve as a setting for the implementation of “Active Labor Policy interventions”, offering training programs and internships for unemployed individuals, as well as those with disabilities or in disadvantaged situations. Additionally, it runs migrant hospitality and integration programs through the Mr. Grab project.
Dalla Stessa Parte believes that disabilities can be integrated into the workforce through personalized job placement programs designed to strengthen skills and abilities to help individuals achieve their desired goals.
The laboratory is the cooperative’s “engine” and main asset, both in terms of resources utilized and revenues generated. It is mainly doing third-party processing, including the production and assembly of electromechanical components, packaging, and labeling, as well as assembly and repairs.
The support provided by Rigenera aims to assist Dalla Stessa Parte in completing the set up and expansion of LABLAN, a space that will host the laboratory alongside other services already provided by the cooperative. This area will include a production section equipped with specially designed machines for individuals with autism.
