EQUA COOPERATIVA

Equa is a type A social cooperative established in January 2022 through the merger of Genera and Tuttinsieme, two entities with long experience in the cooperative sector. Equa offers a wide range of services for individuals, families and communities, grouped into three macro areas: future generations, care and inclusion, and community and rights.
Equa is thus the result of Genera and Tuttinsieme joining forces to offer even more comprehensive and quality services to the community.
The cooperative is active in the Milan metropolitan area, with a particular historical presence in municipalities 7, 8 and 9, as well as in the municipalities of Assago, Buccinasco, Cesano Boscone, Cormano, Paderno Dugnano, Tradate, Bareggio, Muggiano and Vigano.
Equa is also a member of the Passepartout consortium and a partner in Be Home Srl and Bambini Bicocca Srl. In addition, it has active collaborations with several universities and research institutes, such as the University Milano Bicocca, the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the Politecnico di Milano.
Among the many initiatives conducted by Equa we also find “La Rondine”, a project that, thanks also to the support of Restart Italia, aims to expand the cooperative’s housing services aimed at women victims of domestic violence. Currently, Equa manages 27 shelters in accommodation facilities, and “La Rondine” aims to increase the number of places available, offering a first level specialized reception with the possibility of first aid. The renovation of three shelters will result in the opening of three new regional units with an increase of 15 beds, making it possible to also accommodate and provide special care and attention to woman victims of trafficking.
