PICCOLO PRINCIPE ONLUS
INTEGRATION, JOB PLACEMENT, SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY, PET SITTER AND TERAPHY
YEAR OF INVESTMENT
Piccolo Principe Onlus is a Type A Social Cooperative, established in 2005, which deals with educational and care services for the elderly (healthy and with cognitive impairment), support for people with brain decay and Alzheimer’s, support for youth and children from a variety of perspectives: pet therapy, training and job orientation.
Over the years, the “elderly” sector, which is the main activity of the cooperative, has gradually been joined by other services that are implementing the business areas: employment agency services and training accreditation for adults and youth, support for women and prevention of violence conditions, animal-assisted interventions (pet therapy) with training of related operators, and community activation interventions within local service systems.
Since 2021, the cooperative has activated a collaboration with Cooperativa Eureka! And Incerchio Association, under the aegis of Fondazione Ravasi Garzanti to manage a system of integrated services aimed at the elderly. Restart Italia supports the development of new activities for the Cooperative, more specifically actions related to pet animals: the qualification of pet sitters’ work, the dissemination of the culture of the human-animal relationship, the realization of a digital platform for the intermediation of pet sitters’ work; the development of pet therapy activity, both in the implementation of interventions and in the training action for the acquisition of professional qualifications necessary to operate. The cooperative operates mainly in the area of Milan and Lodi.
